the partition on my (my fiance's) imac got hosed after the update. she ran the update, it asked her to reboot, then she got the flashing "?"
booting from the install CD and running first aid on the disk reported no errors, but the installer wouldn't allow me to select the drive due to "this installation uses other languages" or something like that. however the detailed log window showed mount errors
I'm hoping to use a debianppc or some other ppclinux distro to fsck the drive.....
any similar stories?
I'm not sure if anyone else had the same problem, but i'm going to try with the option key to see
(ianal) actually in my state (Louisiana) the car is an extension of your home(as is the area within the home's fencing). so if someone breaks into your car you can shoot them under self-defense
