Yes, we here in Sweden are probably going to fold under pressure. But atleast we made a good stand.
Some years ago, there was a lot of turbulence when Zenon Panoussis was in court with the Church of Scientology (Actually a real interresting read). Using a law here in Sweden: offentlighets principen, he handed in the texts. An action that resulted in that the text went accessible to everyone.
After realizing this CoS's laywers tried to make a change in our Grundlag (I.e think constitution). A laywer with that attitude, is very hard to stop, and is bound to have a lot of resources. But if the Netherlands can make a stand for it... then I will be proud of you.
One question.
What will happen when the universities are fighting among each other? (for profit). How can a smaller school keep up with the bigger ones. Perhaps not</P>
<P>
What will happen then?, we got three big universities, with almost a religious way of science, training their minions in the right way of thinking?
</P>
<P>Is this todays version of Darwinism.
Let the smartest survive ? </P>
I'm from Sweden, and I'm ashamed of myself for beeing a swede when I have country men who are doing like this. If it had been an American band who did like this, I probably would not have been so upset (since suing is "The American way of solving problems"). Well it seems like Internet are making us more equal than we think!
"This is the day, this is the price, no one ever makes it taking loosers advice" (from the song Sympathy by Mesh)
I'm from sweden, where the mobile phone hype is incredible. You are considered to be "Different and odd" if you don't own one yourself. Getting information about cell phones is as easy as asking your very next neighbour who know most certainly knows all the details and so on...
However my personal view on GMS (Europe) cell's is that you should take a closer look at Nokia's phones. (8210) (Better display, longer "uptime")
But, are you not so lucky to be living in Europe, you should probably check out Motorola phone, or any of the new competitors, siemens or sony.
Btw, howcome we're not using the same BAND globally? I hate to know that I can't use my Nokia 6150 in the states (as if I would ever get there)
I can't penetrate the lies, the damage you do is written across your eyes (Mesh -- Damage you do)
I wonder what my first impression will be of seeing Daikatana on the shelfs for the first time.
<p> Enthusiasm, fear, uncertainty, doubt, or perhaps, feeling quite... old </p> <p> I can be used, beaten and bruised, to justify your state of mind (Mesh - State of mind)</p>
Most games today are being programmed using Microsoft DirectX... and I'm getting curious about one thing: Are there any standard in porting this code into Linux code, and would it speed up porting of other games? By the way , I'd love to see Civ2 ported to linux //stalle -- I don't take myself for granted
You mean you have stolen my very own patented idea of downloading Mp3:s from school? I can clearly see a lawsuit infront of me... If amazon can, I can... note: this was some kind of weird sarcasm...
As a regular windows user, I've gotten used to the "horrible" Windows button, that came not too long ago. When gotten used to... you realize that they are the best thing that has happened to keyboard layout (for those who are using windows) What I really miss in GNOME (never tried KDE), is the possibilities with one keystroke hit the mouse menus. But then, ofcourse... I miss every kind of keystrokes, since the makers of current GUI's and windowmanagers doesn't seem to be using those, only the mouse...//stalle

Ok, not entirely true, but the point is still there.
You know, a lot of people are considering this to be cheating. But yes, once you've gotten used to the kind of fisheyed view, it's more relaxing.
