You might want to check this one out... I submitted this to Slashdot a few days ago but they didn't post it...
This page describes how an Atari 800XL (with datasette only, no floppies) is interfaced to medical diagnostic equipment in a Czech childrens hospital. Extremly cool!:)
But the DivX-codec is STILL not open source! It uses the windows x86-DLLs in an extremly stripped down version of Wine. Thus it can't be used on non-x86 platforms.
There are still a few Atari 7800 games that were never dumped! I guess you are the last hope to preserve these games forever by dumping them and releasing them to the emulation/rom-scene!
Just try it! Mix baking soda and lemonjuice in a glass or whatever! Please try! THEN you'll know what they mean...:)
Det kommer att bli en kemisk reaktion som kommer att stänka ner hela ditt kök... Det är jättekul! Vi gjorde det på kemin på högstadiet...:)
Tillsätt lite diskmedel så blir det ännu tuffare!:)
That's right! I found out a few months ago that Studio 3 (former System 3) is working on THE LAST NINJA 4! It will be released for PS2 and PC(windoze duh)...
For some reason they removed all info from their homepage but make a Google-search for "last ninja 4" and you'll find plenty of info...
It's really looking GREAT and I can't wait for this one! The Last Ninja series was some of the best games ever! I remember back in 1986 when I spent months in a row and almost no sleep playing The Last Ninja...
My #1 wish for Linux is Directory Opus "Magellan" (v5.6)! It's the best filemanager ever made! This is a good start though. v4.x and v5.x is VERY different! It's like two completely different programs!
v4 uses the classic two listviews and a bunch of buttons at the bottom (copy, move, delete, unpack etc).
v5 uses multiple windows that are marked one SRC, one DEST and/or the rest OFF. Activating a DEST or OFF window makes it SRC and the SRC becomes DEST. Each window has small copy, move, delete etc buttons. You can configure it 100%.. Doubleclicking an archivefile (.lha,.lzx,.zip) let you browse through it like it was a normal directory. Dragging an archieve unpacks it in the window you dragged it to. Marking some files and pressing "move" move them to the DEST window.. etc.. You can choose between text or icon view. And every single function is available through the ARexx language so you can easily create or customize your own functions.
Directory Opus v5 is the program i miss the very most on other systems!
"Maybe it's because our land mass is so much larger, so we have so much farther to go" Isn't that the strongest reason ever to have a fuel-efficient car?

He hasn't read the article and he doesn't know a shit about the *new* Amiga...
He is talking about the *old* Amiga which is a completly different thing. The only thing they have in common is the name and the spirit.
