As an HTC Desire owner, I would say HTC are professional foot-shooters. My Desire has such poor volume I cant hear it ringing in my pocket, and cant play music over the speaker, and i have three spare batteries charged up on my desk as I type this.
The new generation has not got SD cards or removable batteries. "Apple dont have removable batteries or SD cards, and Apple is selling like hot cakes, so we will copy them!" I wish to God Apple HAD patented non-removable batteries and no SD card!
I had a BB9000 and the keyboard died. Three times in a row, they gave me the same phone (same BBM ID, Same Bluetooth MAC, same Wifi Mac) and told me it was a new phone.
I will be buying SGIII next month.
If you dont want to go the way of RIM, it is important to find out what people want and make that! And try not to slap your customers in the face with a wet fish!
You are missing the point: it is certain that the blocking will completel hopeless, blocking important sites (education, health, etc) while failing to block new porn sites that have not yet been identified as such. That is, assuming anyone has a way to define what actually IS porn (which has never been achieved in a UK court - the failure to define porn in UK courts has disgraced several UK government).
Or vice versa - the best selling book in the UK is allegedly "Mummy porn". I have not read it myself, but the lurid details have been summarized by media spokes-people I inherently distrust.
Even has his own hate page on facebook.
I for one, am very glad to hear this! He deserves to be exposed to an endless stream of his own work. I never even watch TV, and don't own a car, but these adverts still drive me crazy, as they are so loud you can hear them 3 doors away!
Normal Christians (Ie not American) believe evolution is evidence that God is alive, and still creating. We also believe that Jesus taught that fundamentalism was wrong. American Christians appear to be confused by the teachings of Islam.
In the "olden days" you never bought products that were only available from a single source. If the manufacturer did not license the technology to someone else, you did not buy it and in order to maintain this situation, you bought from both (all) suppliers in inverse proportion to their prices.
Maybe, if Linux can ever manage to handle stable APIs, and a desktop manager that follows the strategy of "small, constant improvement" instead of "revolutionary step backwards that confuses everyone"
Or, very marginally more realistically, Lenovo should update OS/2. (It runs Windows programs better than Windows). They could afford to do it, and have the right connections and motivation.
Oh, wait ...
In short, the same strategy as RIM!
Don't tell them all. I am trying to buy RIM stock on the cheap!

When I was young we had to draw or write our own porn. It taught me a life-skill I can still use today!
You seem to forget - a significant percentage of parents are utterly useless (maybe they did not see enough porn when young?).

I am in the UK (My ISP is BT). Please can I have this button? (is it Firefox compatible or IE6 only?)
I think that was Windows 3.1. - I started using *BSD shortly after Win3.1 and I remember it.
Oh, so that explains it!
If you had only been using a computer for a couple of years, you probably wouldn't know that.

But that is the True Linux Way(tm)!
Cos the bloatware providers pay bribes.
Which users will have to replace with LibreOffice if they actually want to do some work?
Yes, next year really will be the year of the Linux desktop!
Mod parent +1: Ugandan
Unless you actually valued your data, or wanted bug fixes.
If you care about the screen, then two years old laptops are better than the current models, which can't be very good for sales.
