I'm a MLB extra innings subscriber for the first time this year. The only reason I subscribed is because I have a slingbox now. At least with the slingbox I can watch games when I travel, at the office or even on the evening train home. I'd almost never see a game otherwise and certainly couldn't justify the expense. I don't have enough faith in the reliability of MLB.tv to buy it.
I guess I'm a criminal for actually paying for their service to use for my personal viewing. I bet I don't buy it next year.
Sounds like they've invented the same process as Qlaunch for the Palm OS. I doubt Qlaunch was the first of its type but I've used it for a long time now. Very useful on a Palm as it lets you assign several apps to each hard button based on how long you hold it down.
