Why fear terrorists, when government and industry working together do the most damage to our freedoms and liberties?
There are times I suspect the government actually paying the terrorists to be terrorists.
I mean, without the terrorists it's pretty freaking hard to take away people's right in a democracy like America.
With the so-called "threat of terrorism" they can do almost whatever they want - tap your phone withou warrant, read your email without warrant, search your house without warrant, lock you up without any valid reason, etc - and we the People mostly comply because they (the gomen) actually makes us feel MORE secure the more they violate our rights.
I still don't understand why American elected Obama as their president.
To be a true American one must feel proud every single time one looks at the moon, for the moon signifies something special to the United States of America.
America is the first (and so far) only country in the world which landed HUMAN BEING safely on the surface of the moon (and a safe trip back home).
And on the surface of the moon still stands the flag of America.
It's something so special no other country in this world can make such claim.
Obama isn't truly American. He does not share the American dream. He doesn't see things eye to eye with his fellow Americans. He doesn't even care.
As I begin with my message, even until today I am still very puzzled over why Obama got elected the president of the United States in America.
Something must have gone very very very wrong, somewhere.
I recall an earlier post today that basically indicates that the more the government tries to oppress freedom of speech, the more clever those with drive will become to avoid such measures.
It's nothing new.
China and Thailand are not the only ones doing this thing to their people.
Malaysia is doing that too.
In fact, they haul people to the slammer for "violating laws" - whatever trump up laws they can charge with, to people who dare to criticize the racist regime that is controlling Malaysia.
Just in case you don't know, Malaysia is the only country in the world practicing legal Apartheid. And it's worse than the one that used to be practiced in South Africa.
In South Africa it's the majority (the Blakcs) who were being oppressed so that the minority (the Whites) can get to enjoy.
In Malaysia it's the other way around. It's the minority that has to work and work and work so that the majority can get to enjoy everything - their free breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus free education till they drop.

There are not enough jobs that require math, science, and technology skills.
There are not enough jobs that require math, science and technology skills because there aren't enough people with brains in America who can work at these jobs in the first place.
Resulting in these jobs go elsewhere - to Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Germany.
The jobs that exist don't pay squat.
Those jobs don't qualified.
Real brainy jobs pay very well.
Coders on the other hand, comes aplenty, dimes a dozen, in India.
Furthermore, brainy kids are treated terribly by their peers.
So we brainy kids grow up to be leaders, and those "peers" who treated us badly better watch out, because as leaders, we think of fancy ways to take our sweeeeeet revenge.
Therefore, neither kids nor adults have real incentives to develop themselves intellectually.

Brainy kids will grow up to be leaders. Like Alan Cox, like Linus, like Steve Jobs.
Pouring more money into schools will not change any of that.
Pouring money into teaching the brainy kids will change a lot of things.

I went to the Illinois state-run brainiac school (IMSA) upon which Daley is dreaming -- let me tell you, this is not the model that will help Chicago's education program. These elite schools spend exorbitantly on a small crop of students, giving them (myself included) a fucking awesome education while students who didn't make the cut are stuck in the ineffectual morass of public high schools.
Look buddy. This world isn't a flat world and there's no equality in anything.
You got a leader and you got 1000 followers. Not everyone can be a leader.
So what if the school spent a lot to give a few true brains a fucking awesome education?
The aim is clear --- to make you guys leaders, so that when you grow up (if you grow up, that is) you can become a good leader and take care of your followers.
So what if your followers got crap for education now? They will have you as a good leader.
To really solve Chicago's education problem, you have to prioritize the schools that cater to the very worst students
Reading the sentence above makes me thinking. That brainaic school has chosen a wrong candidate.
You shouldn't be there since you have no brain.
Worst students will stay worst no matter what.
There are always a certain percentage of human population that will become scumbags. No matter how you educate them, they will still become scumbags.
Educating scumbags is a waste of precious resources.
The darker your skin complextion the more rights you got.
If your religion happens to be a non-Christian, hell yes, you got more rights right there !
If you are disabled --- no matter which type of "dis-ability" --- yeah, you can have your cake and eat it too.
But on the other hand, people like Hope Johnson, one of the contestant in the American Idol, a poor white girl from a poor white Christian family --- obviously she doesn't get to enjoy the RIGHTS many of her darker skin color classmates get to enjoy.
She goes hungry at nights while her dark skin classmate got foodstamps.
That's the current meme, and it needs to be changed. And at least Richard Daley wants to change that too.

For so many years we users have been fleeced by those vendors.
I'm betting that they looked at Apple's margins on hardware, and saw potential in doing the same with Sun's hardware business
A piece of hardware that could have been sold for $100 is being sold for $500.
A piece of software that could have been sold for $100 is being sold for $1000.
And the worst part is, although they sold us their wares with such high prices they never ever bother about the bugs.
We users are worse than guinea pigs. After we pay the high prices, we work for them for free reporting bugs to them so that later they can come up with a bug-fixed version and they can charge us again for it.
The flippety-flip side side is that the employment is in India/China and the taxes they pay go to the Indian/Chinese governments.
What the average Joe doesn't know is this:
When a US company goes to India and set up a branch there, employing Indian nationals, that company actually gets money from Uncle Sam for doing that !
It does not make sense but that's how the thing is !!
