And, he needed to get people's shipping addresses to send them free stuff. I'm sure there was some desire for glory involved as well, but having 'the community' take credit is a motivation for members to assist. I think they would have raised more money this way, then by some other method.
It was done by computer. But what's weird is that with $22,000 at stake they couldn't even be bothered to double-check. I mean, I'd understand automated shutdowns of $50 accounts, but, they already made $520 off of these donations. Why not spend $10 of that to doublecheck before shutting it down!?

Do the record labels require the user to pay a spesific amount, or do they just want more money? It seems like apple could pay the record companies more for some songs, and less for others, while still charging the consumers a flat rate (maybe more then 99 cents).

The reasons that cells form monomiers of a spesific handedness is because they're catalyzed by protiens that arange the molicules in a spesific way to catalyze the reaction, rather then just dumping stuff in a test tube and waiting, like a chemist.
The public dosn't want to spend 500 billion dollars to send people to mars for no reason. They want cheap probes that tell them something intresting. (like if life exists on other planets)

Trademark search means searching through national trademark databases, such as this one for the united states. It wouldn't hurt to take 10 seconds to google a phrase before talking out your ass.

If you read the entire article, you'll see that "liquid" is by far the least supported classification. Lots of people think glass flows like a liquid over hundreds of years, but it does not. It dosn't flow, or form to its container at all. So it's not a liquid, although it does have some other properties that are liquid-like. Its more a question of "what do mean when we say 'liquid'" then how glass actualy acts.
Most people would not call glass a liquid if they knew how it worked.
