You do realize that Apache is a http server don't you? If you are serving FTP through your webserver I think that you have more problems than whether the software is secure.
I'm just kinda wondering what the optimal performance conditions are for this product?
My guess is that the light has to be greater on the inside than on the outside, much like seeing a reflection using a mirror. Also there is the problem of temperature. Most electronics don't particularly enjoy being used at extreme temps. I'm also guessing that this thing has some type of current running through it causing an extreme temp change in the glass.
So how long until the first "projection window" explodes during the winter?
This is truly great. I also have used gaim for the past few years and have been increasingly dissatisfied with the Windows alternatives. Previosly I have had to content myself with Gaim running remotely through Cygwin and ssh.
At long last I will be able to use blaim (blowfish encrypted AIM) in windows. That is if I can figure out the compile options;-).
Hopefully the development will stay active on this front.
If you have actually read this book you would know that the footnotes are often the best and funniest parts of a all around good tale about the biblical apocalypse. How will any director mention the different misprint versions of the bible that the angel and sonetimes bookstore owner has collected?
I'm actually very interested to see if this thing pans out. I just hope that the history of the british monetary system actually makes it into the movie
Suppose an operating system that isn't geek-chic announced that their OS was going to be a tiny bit late. Slash-dotters would be standing on their heads to be the first person that posts a "serves 'em right" message.
As much as I don't like M$ do you think that they delayed their OS's because they wanted to or that they didn't think they were stabel enough?
Having done quite a few Mods myself I find myself craving to do more. But is it realy worth it? Most of the time you either draw power away from the components that you need or compromise the soundness of the case itself.
Ever taken your mod one step too far only to realize that you just fried your hard-drive... or even worse under powered your processor with all of those cool lights and fans?
Just wondering if people truly think it is worth the trouble to do those outrageous mods.
At least I hope so. Debian supports some eclectic hardware but it sure doesn't neccesarilly come with boot disks that will actually work with your machine.
Isn't it wonderful... the second you buy something... then the "new standard" is released. Good thing this is going to take a while to get into anyone's price range

This really is a problem. It would be just amazing if Apple could take the time to construct a linux netscape plugin for thier forsaken quicktime API
and differnt is not a word at all
