But did he succeed in obtaining something? The Saudi's clearly don't want to say they have committed to anything. In fact they said

the managing director of the Saudi fund had expressed support for proceeding subject to financial and other due diligence.

(Emphasis mine.)That clearly implies they are thinking about it but it hasn't been decided yet.
    That isn't secured.

Beijing's surprise decision to stop taking in 24 types of scraps starting 2018.

How many types of waste are there? More than 24?

The country's imports of solid waste, which include plastics, paper and metal, fell by 54 percent in the first quarter of 2018 following the January ban, according to Chinese customs data.

So still about half as much waste as before.

  6. That's why China is still Importing all kinds of waste from all kinds of places. But American waste was just too mixed and random. If you could be bothered to sort it they would probably still take it.

Inside the polling place will be an area (usually a voting booth) where the voter may select the candidate or party of their choice in secret. If a ballot paper is used this will be placed into a ballot box in front of witnesses who cannot see for whom the vote has been cast. Voting machines may be employed instead.

  12. Ahhh you crack me up. Did you not notice the glass fronted box with the slit on the top. In case you didn't realise that's where you put your ballot paper, in full view of everyone, after using the voting booth in private.

  13. We had one of those, but Trump decided he didn't want to play anymore.

Maybe you're on to something though. Maybe the reason for the CO2 is political.

China is a dictatorship, so that must be what makes it emit the most CO2.
Saudi Arabia emits much less CO2, and it's a monarchy.
So the obvious solution is to make Xi a king and the CO2 will go down.
I mean it can't possibly be because China has a billion extra people, it's just politics like you said.

  14. So draw some more lines and it's solved.

  15. So you care it's being created, just don't care how much?
How am I defending pollution? I'm complaining about the people who make amongst the most of it.
You seem to be implying lines on a map will make some magical difference to the level of CO2.

Or I very carefully draw people out into the discussion to explain why they think per country is in any way meaningful. Make them think a tiny bit. Too many people blindly follow along complaining about big countries without understanding why they produce more.
It's very convenient to pretend that you and your country aren't the problem when you can point the finger at someone else to blame.

Global warming definitely cares that 300 million Americans pump out twice the CO2 as 300 million Chinese. It's people who draw arbitrary lines and complain bigger places are worse just for being bigger.

Global warming doesn't care if you are standing in America or standing in China or standing on deserted island in the middle of nowhere. You make much more CO2, you're much more of a problem.

  18. Yes that idea would work. Glad I got you to think about it a bit, instead of the nonsense you wrote the first time.
But what place allows you to secretly put a ballot into the ballot box without anyone looking.? Seems an easy way to just stuff in as many votes as you like. Why even bother with the farce.

  19. No polling station in a civilized country is going to let you do that.
Just get n ballot papers video yourself voting for all n gangsters. Sell your vote to all n. Then pick the one ballot you actually want to cast to really put in the box.

You are a complete dumbfuck Windy. Why do you constantly lie in completely obvious and easily checked ways? Is it some kind of mental condition, or do you just hate China that much, all sense and reason goes out the window?

Do you still really think I don't check before calling you a liar? You must know by now.

  25. Yes obviously, agree completely. Hopefully anyone lying to the public in order to profit from the price falling will be prosecuted.
But being a public company traded on the stock market has rules. You don't get to choose who trades your stock. They must have known short selling existed, and shouldn't be so surprised.
Windy seems to think only good people trade stocks. Maybe they were both a little naive.
