I have one at work. A decade or more time ago I was looking through some old equipment intended for liquidation. And I've found one still in working condition.
It's still with me, I'm typing on it. And I will take it with me to my grave;-)

His going Mars project will require a lot of equipment built with very low tolerances. Probably he wants hardware contractors be prepared for work that will be needed soon.
