This is *obviously* a tactical move by the compass manufacturers. They want everybody to have to upgrade their compasses.
There is no "far side" of the moon. The moon rotates on its axis, just like the earth. Therefor, any given point faces earth every rotation.
I noticed that one of the listed features is a component video out for resolutions up to 1024x768. Does anybody know if this automatically adjusts the format to HDTV specifications or does it just output at 1024x768?
