Did anyone else find this "HOWTO" far too informal, and offensive in parts? I don't need his opinions to make a comment, especially his generalisations of geeks' political views.
Because people have a mutual interest to follow their standards? Wait under these "IE only" pages using strange quirks become unusable in the next version of IE. Not everything has to be done by enforcing laws.
So not only does their new name (Zinf Is Not Freeamp) still have the Amp trademark in, it also sounds cutesy and Russian. A lot of OSS projects seem to have crap names, is this because of trademark threats and if so is the system out of order? I don't see exactly how FreeAmp infringes on the image of AMP.

Surely this will just prompt crackers to stealth their actions in commands that are similar to how the system is used normally?

Define operating system. Don't mix it up with boot loaders or kernels. Now explain how Microsoft's .NET isn't an operating system.
