I'm surprised to see that Google isn't on this list. Android, Goobuntu, GFS... Why aren't they contributing this back into the main tree? Doesn't Andrew Morton work there? What does he do all day? Chris DiBona? Google has linux repositories and plenty of open source projects. Is this simply a case where code from Google isn't being attributed to them and instead is filed under unknown? Anyone, Bueller?

Sure, and hopefully this will open up more of the high end graphics market to Linux including CAD.

One stress as a Linux user is the lack of 'real' programs. By real I mean professional stuff like Photoshop, Solidworks, etc. Stuff that really seems best suited to a robust system like Linux.

Anyone know of a good midrange option? I wouldn't mind paying a couple hundred bucks even.

Step one: use lots of energy to split water into base elements.
Step two: allow hydrogen and oxygen to recombine in a controlled manner and capture the release energy.
Step three: use energy and spill water.

Most of the time I rip from a friends copy, but right now I'm looking for an older Jay-Z cd that nobody I know owns. I've been debating buying it for a few days now but I can't stand supporting Hillary and her boys. The cd costs more today than when it was new. Shouldn't it cost less?

Not that you'll agree this changes anything.

With situations like this I don't think the editors can do anymore (or less) than they did. The fools who have nothing better to do at 9am in the morning than build and install a X.0 release of kde deserve to be frustrated with slow downloads or timeouts.
