No one made Apple sue over a rectangular shape. They choose to do it. So as much as I like their products, I can hate them as much as I want for trying to destroy the cell-phone market. Pity as well since they have great products that by and large the market has deemed the "best". They had no need to resorte to lawsuits rather then just compete.
I was worried that my round phone running the only build of Android without pinch to zoom etc would be effected!
Google can distance themselves all they want, but if the verdict stands Apple will be targeting every Android phone on the market while singing the them song to The Highlander.
He's stuck living in some guys office, sleeping on an air matres. And from what I hear, he's a really bad house guest. Leave him there, its punishment all around.
There are less then a dozen documented cases of someone voting using a false identity over the last four election cycles. On the other hand, there are hundreds of thousands of voters who do not have photo id due to economic conditions (cant afford a car, dont have a drivers license). The people without ids are statistically Democrat voters.
As for redistricting, I'm talking about changing the rules so that Democrat districts have less time to vote then Republican ones. Granted that got over turned by a Federal judge, but that they tried it is sickening.
Main difference is where they fall on support for the middle class & social programs. In addition, while I dont think of myself as partisan, I find the actions of the Republicans in their attempts to disenfranchise lower class and minority voters to be down right evil. Stuff like the voter id laws and redistricting they are pushing through shows that they have such a low opinion of their own policies that they feel it necessary to cheat to win. That combined with their obstinate position of "anything they say, we're against" in congress makes me want to vote against them, if not for their Democrat opponents.
If you are going to blame Microsoft for what third party software does on your computer, then you can't also blame them when they start to track and address such problems. With things like EAs Origin, Steam, etc, what you do on your computer is no longer just your business. At least Microsoft lets you turn it off.
If a pill advertised on TV can claim to rebuild damaged joints or convert your fat into muscle (these claims have not been verified by the FDA) and in fact do nothing, an app should be able to as well. If the app can't (and it should not be able to) then neither should the sugar pills.
So why regulate apps? You can more or less claim your snake oil does anything you want, so long as you hide a disclaimer some place that your claims have not been confirmed by the FDA. If we're going to regulate medical self help and remedies then it should be all inclusive, not limited to apps.
If you want to get nit-picky about it, Microsoft stole nothing either despite things like the mouse cursor being pixel by pixel the same as Mac OS. Apple inadvertently licensed everything to Microsoft under the pretext of developer tools and office applications.
I guess the point is, cant we just agree that they're all jerks?
Not mutually exclusive, but Creationism is not Science and should not be taught in a Science class anymore then astrology should be. If you want to have a "Comparative Religion" class where all Religious viewpoints can be taught, I'm all for it.
They use black & white (greyscale) cameras because you can get higher resolution for the size & weight. They then take three photos with different filters to simulate color.
You're going around shouting at different people and then the police ask these people where they think the noise was coming from. There's not asking what was being yelled, just which direction the noise is coming from. I can see this falling into the range of non-private data, as much as I would like to say it's not.
But that location data resides on third party servers - it's not shouted where all can hear it in a manner that humans could hear such as by voice. It's reasonable to expect that your personal data stored on such a server would require a warrant.
To keep with my analogy, the person who heard you and is being queried by the police as to your location can refuse without a warent. But in this case, the cell phone providers seem eager to hand over the information.
Put another way, once you hand over your information to a third party without a contract protecting your privacy, they can hand it off to the police without your permission or a warent if they so choose. Thats why this decision applies to disposable phones and not regular ones.

I know of (and can find no) instance where Amazon one-click went to court. It has however been settled out of court many times and licensed to more or less all takers.
The link you provided says that only Blizzard can change them, so it sounds like its still true for now unless you want to argue with them on the phone and provided a photo id.
Once a Battle.net account is created, the first name, last name and security question can not be changed. Since these questions are now compromised, everyone is SOL.

Clearly Apple is stealing the design of the Kindle Fire in an attempt to create confusion in the market place.

All of the issues with a non-backed currency that no one trusts PLUS the lack of anonymity associated with a major credit card!
All other sources refuse to cover how renting games is "grey market" and wrong.

Handcuffs are just for restraining drunks. For the real dangerous folks (protesters, students, etc) you use zip ties.

Fast, cheap, good. Pick any two.
Problem is many managers pick fast & cheap and then complain when its not good.
Think you need this...

I assume of course the development of a supper suit to aid our earth worm warriors.
