    If we implement some tough emissions-controls, carbon sequestering, and maybe do a little careful climate engineering, I think we can return Ontario to it's natural state under 1 mile of ice in a century or two. Otherwise we're all doomed.

    No block-level scope. No threads. No support for strong typing. No inheritance.

    Threads are evil. Function scope is better than block scope. Strong typing sucks. Class hierarchies suck.

    Using a stolen credit card to fraudulently set up a fake account on iTunes should have been detected by Apple, when name and address verification failed on the new account when compared to the credit card.

    Why assume that name and address verification failed?

    As I recall, this idea was actually floated. But after a couple of weeks the news was posted to Slashdot and the nerd rage was so strong, the plan was scuttled.

    On the other hand, black crayons taste just like that black stuff I dig out from under my toenails every now and then.

    I switched to Chrome long ago, but despite my efforts to convert her, my wife still wants to use Firefox. And if she wants Firefox, she's getting Firefox.
