Let's see, a show about a bunch of loose chicks looking for guys to bang them. Yeah, that doesn't sound like anything I (as a guy) would be interested in.
And yet, when I searched for the application of the Geneva Convention in non-state wars, I immediately found a paper stating that such conventions do NOT apply to non-state actors, and that revising such conventions to apply to such cases is an ongoing effort. See http://digitalcommons.wcl.amer...
Well, maybe Snapchat creating a way to overlay your speed on a picture was a "bad decision". As in, what are people going to do... oh yeah, that's right, they are going to see how FAST THEY CAN GO.
Have you ever listened to talk radio? I normally don't, I was on trip driving a few hours and tuning around, and it was all right wingers bashing Obama and wanting to see the "real" birth certificate. There's plenty of right wing media out there.
Maybe Thunderbird has gotten a LOT better, but when I was using it (6-7 years ago) it was a royal pain in the ass. I kept Firefox and threw away Thunderbird. Windows Live Mail is way better than that stinking pile.
And what about the people who say "I'm not 'other', I'm '....'"? And what's the point of having "male" and "female" when these designations don't line up with biology? Just have unisex.
The "solution" is going to be unisex toilets for everyone. What else are you going to do? You simply can't build enough special purpose toilets to handle the variety.
Yeah it just looked for "2+2". Anything else I think I just gave a brief error message. That was the joke... people (including me before I knew better) thought it might have a calculator in it, so you would try "2+2" and get an answer.
Dartmouth Timesharing had the "what" command that gave info about the system. Don't recall the legitimate uses, but as a special case if you entered "what 2+2" it output "4". Comment in the code was "joke".
Right. Zero accidents that I've been responsible for in 30 years... well what do you know I DO drive responsibly. But at 20 miles per hour, you cover 30 feet in a second. If someone wanders out behind a van right in front of me, I won't be responsible for hitting him, but I'm still going to feel awful about it.
The problem is the idiots who can't look up from their phone while crossing the street. I suppose you could view it as "evolution in action" that they are eventually going to get hit, but as a driver, I really don't want to hit anyone.
Maybe these men need to find women who enjoy having sex with them? Just a thought.
I guess I was luckier, my ex would just yell at me to get online in Warcraft because they needed a healer.

Parent is rated "insightful"???
Does anyone really think enraged men are bothering to downrate "Sex and the City"? Seriously?

Sorry to confuse you with the facts.
Don't try to be informative, you're on Slashdot
I notice you don't mention changing the conversation from the best way to torture people to how to make sure everyone receives medical care.
Man, those facts, they sure are pesky.
It's not dumb, it's making up and proclaiming the "truth" you want to believe. "Those rocks prove God brought Adam and Eve here 6,000 years ago".
Someone modded the parent "Insightful"? Really???

The movie was clearly satire, but given everything I've read about Heinlein, and how it fits in with his other work, the book was quite serious.
Weird... so women have babies on their own? Somehow I thought men were involved. My bad.

Well, if you read slashdot, USA is the worst. Excuse me for injecting a little reality.
Try reading my posts.
Yeah, because Russia, North Korea, China, are much more open and free societies than that evil Amerika!!!!!

At some point I stopped counting the number of "sexes" that people wanted to be identified as.
The only way to avoid hitting pedestrians who aren't paying attention is not drive. Period.
