Veritas Bare Metal Restore relays on DOS boot floppies, with DOS SCSI drivers and DOS Ethernet-TCP/IP-NetBIOS drivers, when used with HP-Compaq Proliant Intel servers (which usually run Linux, Windows Server, etc.). You can hardly say Veritas is not a product being developed.
Also, Symantec Ghost 2003 still relays on DOS boot disks, also.
DOS is not dead. It just has gone kind of embeded on niche applications. Quite similar to what is happening with UNIX, in fact.

Hello.
Una pequeña y amable correcciÃn: la segunda preposiciÃn "de" de tu firma, es gramaticalmente incorrecta: debe decirse "...tienen gusto a la comida...", o bien "...tienen el gusto de la comida...".

Also, W2k AS has support for clustering and "windows (network) load balancing" (the later is so bad!).
OK. :-)
Good to know.
