The winters in the early 40's were exceptionally cold, obviously there would have been more ice if the temperature is lower. This only shows that there were less ice during their recent journey, nothing more. Making blanket statements based on 2 observations is not good science.;-)
This is a "feature" in Morpheus, you don't have to do it from the command line. "Find more from this user" or a similar command when right-clicking will give you a list of that user's shared files wich you can d/l through Morpheus.

The versions of Outbreak and Exploiter shipped with the computer will be old, vulnerable and in dire need of patching by the time the computer is delivered.
