May not mean much to anyone, but I used to work for that company and still have a good friend that works there now. Apparantly they're all super excited about this deal. Times like this I glad I got out of there. ;)

I wonder if they are going to use it to study wheather or "wheather"? You know what i mean by "wheather." You know, the swamp gases that reflect off of Venus. hehehe ;)

  3. most addictive on What Games are You Addicted To? · · Score: 1

One of the most addictive games for me is Gran Turismo 3, that game will affect my driving in real life, "I can make this turn better if i bounce off that domino's truck in front of me. Wiat a minute!!!" ::tires squeal::

man, that artist's rendition is just unbelievable. i've seen some pretty darn good graphics done, but that is just awesome. it really captures the feel of what it might look like. makes you wonder how he thought of this, or what we actually know what it looks like. Were does all these ideas come from?

  5. Alternate thought on The End Not As Near As We Thought · · Score: 2, Insightful

It seems that the general consensus seems to be that we will either move to another planet/system, or that we will figure out something to change our orbit. But it just makes me wonder if we'll even last that long. Sure, we'll discover more ways to defend ourselves from various astrological disasters, but what about US? What's stopping us from destroying ourselves? With the advances not only in science, but military. We're discovering more ways to kill other people, and people seem more inclined to use those ways for their own benefit. I think we just need to look at what we're doing to each other on earth BEFORE we can do something as a whole.
