Watched my Apex 600a last night, in fact. Hands down the best player I've ever owned, and there are 8 others in my house right now.
Best in regards to:
Durability
Features (including cd+g and kar-a-oke functions)
Longevity
Ease of use
Weight
Of course, I'm a little crazy. I have my Atari 2600 and my Laserdisc player hooked up to the same TV as my HD-DVD and HD Tivo (with various other game systems in the same area).
No PS3 yet though. Just not impressed with either the player or the format. I do beleive it's got more potential than any other on market product. But Flash Memory ets cheaper ever day, and IMO, discs are dead.
That the perjorative of "US Scientists" is applied whole cloth, when in fact the "scientists" in question are limited to the telecommunications industry.
But my absolute favorite passage was:
"and to allow yourself to get to the stage where you're a whole hour out of synchronisation with the Sun seems to be mad. Why can't we just leave things the way they are?"
US non-scientists, in conjuction with the FRENCH, have been doing this for well over a century, and seem to be just fine. And lest we forget, the English drug their heels on adopting the Gregorian calendar for 170 years, resulting in an inaccuracy of 11 days.
Stonehenge, however, keeps perfect "time" no matter how slowly the earth moves. My solution? Lighten the load. Let's have fewer Englishmen.
Including the plot. Astute viewers of Matrix: Reloaded and the Animatrix are, like the Oracle, knowledgable about both:Revolutions, and the future of the Franchise.
But you've already made your choice to see the movie. And after 2 hours and 9 minutes, you just have to understand it.
There's no need to wait for Eisner of Borg to ruin Porco Rosso. You can by a great DVD copy of the movie right now online, with Japanese, English, and French language tracks. The French track is laid down by Jean Reno, re-affirming his claim to being the only frenchman in the world who can kick ass.
Look it up.

Sales. Keeping. Unit.
Simple, Direct, Descriptive. More or less synonomous with "product," but used primarily to make our digital retail experience faster.
Even the grocery store uses SKU. It may well define ubiquitous in the channel.
Or is that too scary a word as well?

This movie is everything I expected it to be.
