The major teleconferencing companies use 3 concurrent ISDN lines to get a private nework with enough bandwidth to stream the audio and video between end-points, FWIW.
This might be close to what the unit will be like, but the CNN article explains that it will have an AMD Athlon XP, while your link shows a "Fully Configured Intel Pentium III PC" configuration. Nevertheless, good link, to give us a clue, and for once, the moderators have done right by somebody...
