My brother-in-law received a DVD with LOTR on it on tuesday. It's good quality, has some extra scenes on it a comes with a well photocopied case. This is in the UK mind, he says it comes from the 'far east'. I'll wait until the offical release and by a full DVD player (rather than my laptop) to watch it on.

My non-geek colleges all think that 'A Beautiful Mind' was 'OK', but 'LOTR' was 'blinding' - so what gives? Post-Sept-11 nationalism? Or genuine belief that LOTR wasn't one of the best films ever made?

However if you've got lots of servers, name them after monsters, grading the power of server against the creature.
Thus a P2 300 might be a Hobgoblin, a P3 800 might be a Troll and a dual AMD 2100+ might be an Ethereal Dreadnought.
