  1. Review Comment on FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE Review · · Score: 0

I find the review not so interesting. I thought it would be more information about the new FreeBSD release, but it seems that it's just an explanation of the FreeBSD OS and how it works (in a global way) and some little information about bugs he found.

  2. WHEN? on SCO Responds to OSDL Legal Aid Announcement · · Score: -1, Redundant

Are they waiting until something happens before proving their statements? (if they have *real* proof)

If they can't prove it, then they have made a BIG mistake. And it looks just like this.

  3. Linksys on Linksys and the GPL, Again · · Score: 0

If i could, i would replace my current linksys immediatly with an OpenBSD software router (Parents eh!).

I did not know this router is running linux. As far as I know there aren't any default ways to log in. Just some lousy website where you can change a -little- amount of options.

  5. Re:Dependency doesn't have to be a problem on Microsoft to End DLL Confusion · · Score: 0

With shared DLLs: When there is a security issue with a particular DLL then you can update it and every program using that DLL would not be vulnerable anymore.

With static DLLs: When there is a security issue, you have to fix every program.

I think this should be important for the operation system to have such easy way to fix bugs.
