Buy one what? An XM ready radio? If you want to hear Stern, you better get a SIRIUS ready radio. Check out www.sirius.com . They are the the sat radio with Stern, not XM.
When I got hit, I took an hour to realize and internalize that Yes, this was really happening and then decided to damn well stop things in their tracks. I asked for cancellation and new cards on any and all accounts.
How did you realize you had been 'hit'? Would a credit monitor service have helped you recognize this more quickly?
Radio Paradise is related to KPIG and is a decent alternative to my lousy local radio stations. I read about them in Linux Journal. They use the same open source program to control and web-cast the station as KPIG.
MP3 stream is available too.

I agree. RadioParadise is well worth my monthly donation. They provide an excellent mix of eclectic, intelligent music. Something that has been missing from commerical radio for a long time.
I consider them a service much like public radio and Mandrake Linux. If you like it and want to keep it alive...it's your obligation to support it.
I agree. I've often thought the pendelum may soon swing back from the current mess we have in music. I'd love to see a world without mega stars, but with many great musicians who give away their cd's in the hopes that you will see them live. The high quantity of unrestricted quality musicians will mean they have to tour (work) often. The more touring musicians, the cheaper and smaller concerts are, etc. More musicians will be able to make a living as long as they are willing to work at it. Who will be most likely to work for it and succeed? Musicians who love music more than they love endorsements.

>the future lies in performers doing actual work.
