OpenBSD is UNSECURE.
This is a real concern with some of our customers. So we have to hack, I mean add, our own security encrytions which tends to be patchwork.
How come somebody cannot make a secure OS? The Intel Pentium architecture allows for good security.

OpenBSD is easier to hack, more vulnerable than a Windows OS. Too bad because a secure OS could be one advantageous feature over a Microsoft OS.

We are alone. There may only be a handful of habitable planets in the entire Universe.
Other planets are still not habitable because what makes Earth habitable is more than its small size. For example, the Earth was larger but due to a rare collision the Moon was split off. Multiple moons or no moon is inadequate. Our single moon, and its size create unique seasonal and environmental conditions. There are other rare occurances, which when multiplied together, make alien human life non existent in our Universe.
So think now, of all near, discovered earth-like planets, how many had an unusual, rare collision with another planet of similar size of our Moon ? !

"John Q" is Hollywood's free commecial for the Democrat Party. This movie is a payback gift for the socialists of the Democrat party from the leftists in Hollywood. Campaign Finance Reform is nonsense while Hollywood can give free publicity, during an election year, to the Democrat Party. These movies are not worth our time. Especially, when there are more conservative actors like Mel Gibson, Schwarzenegger etc.
The surgence of "independent films" in local video stores demonstates a rejection of the Hollywood left and their Marxist viewpoints! Liberty is awesome!
Finally, about the politics of socialism vs liberty. Government solutions bring scarcity and misery. Liberty delivers abundance and wealth. People just argue the details. It is that simple!

But not all Engineers take forever to write code. In fact, I can beat any programmer I have met. I develope far more rapidly "plus" I have bug free code.
So when you say Engineers are not wanted in a typical s/w development team, there is truth to that. But it is because Programmers resent the Engineer because "I" do rings around the others.
A lot of Engineers are slow at programming. But it is also true that Programmers resent the fact that when an Engineer takes Computer "Science" courses, he ACES every class. I have my 4.0 gpa to prove it.
Basically, PROGRAMMING IS TOO EASY as a disipline.
