I know this is redundant, but that has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. kudos!

I'm using SuSE 7.2 right now... have been since its release, and have had about as many user-interface issues as I have with my toaster.

I doubt that raising them on the internet will really help any more than the TV... and even worse, I should think. Just think about all the 12-15 year olds running around on the internet right now. Are they really gaining anything useful, learning wise, by looking at all the drivel the internet has to offer? I should think that the sheer amount of biased information and sites shoving their opinions down users throats would either make them incredibly jaded, or incredibly gulliable. Lots of adults believe everything they read on the internet... why should we think that anyone, especially a child, could separate bias and error from the block of information? The internet may be a good tool for kids, but not for that reason.

  4. The fishy thing about this on Immersion Sues Sony and Microsoft Over Force Feedback · · Score: 1

Kind of odd that they're suing SCEA, Sony and MS over force-feedback on consoles, when the first console maker to include force-feedback in their hardward assortment was Nintendo (the N64 rumble pack was out well before the PSX dual shock). So why aren't they suing Nintendo? One would think that if this were really a lawsuit over copyrights, they'd go after everyone, or at least the first offender.

Or companies still supporting the platforms... although it may not be open-source (I don't believe so, anyway), Blizzard sanctioned the FSGS to clone battle.net a while ago.... I think this might be a trend for online games like the crafts, just to give people more flexibility (and if they don't want to put up with IBM's free, albeit lag-tastic servers).

I think the Mozilla builds before the .9.7 milestone got stuck in the same NS trap that hotmail has for NS 4.7. Everything after works, however.
