I have great news for you my friend. Soon it will be legal to fire someone for being Christian (we aren't that far away from that situation) while the gays will have specific legislation passed to be sure they get hired due to being gay and nothing else (they want special treatment for everything else because of their choice). It's affirmative action for the 21st century.

There is a good reason why they are afraid of discovery whether they realize it or not. The general public views it as socially unacceptable, immoral, and wrong. No one will force them to change as it is their choice to behave the way they do but when they do something that is not socially acceptable they have to be prepared to face the consequences just like a child molester knows that if word gets out (especially in prison) as to what he/she did the public is going to be all over the person. I'm not advocating murder or any other harsh reactions but the gays and lesbians need to remember they are a minority and not just any minority like those who prefer black bubble gum(just an example of course :) ), but those who prefer intercourse with the same sex that many people agree is socially unacceptable. I'm sure the gays and lesbians let rumors fly when they see one of their straight friends do something off the wall but being homosexual is pretty high up on the rumor scale due to what the lifestyle entails and society's views on the matter.

Nothing nor no one forced them to be gay. We shouldn't treat them special because of a personal choice they made. Race and gender are not things that a person can help (human intervention like surgery does not count) and thus it is only fair for someone who is a female or black or Asian to be treated the same way as a white male (to use the extreme cases). As it is, gays have the same basic rights as anyone else. They are paid similar wages, they aren't forced to work more hours than normal, and they aren't threatened to do things at the risk of losing their jobs if they don't comply. Those are only things off of the top of my head; I'm sure there are many more cases where gays are treated the same. Should all their co-workers gather together and bring them food on Fridays because they are gay and deserve to get something special?

And what about the Democrats who want all religion to be basically banned from the public eye? Or is that perfectly acceptable nowadays? The Democrats basically pervert human existence but hey, as long as no religion exists in the US that is OKAY. You forget that this country had a moral foundation at one point many years ago and everyone was happier because of it (at least no one thought it to be a bad thing). Now that is being ripped to shreds and you think that the Republicans are the bad guys just because they are trying to bring us back to where we started from (or at the least they are trying to slow down the changes that the Democrats are trying to put forth to take us as far away from our roots as possible)? No one complained back then like they do now when images and thoughts of God permeated public life.

I'm not a Christian, this isn't a Christian nation by any means and the constitution strictly forbids such a relationship between church and government lest we have a repeat of why the Pilgrims left in the first place, and you have no right to force your beliefs regarding something as deeply personal as this onto me.

Why isn't it a Christian nation? Because people like you want to make it a non-Christian nation? That would be the only way it isn't one. It was founded on religious moral grounds. The constitution forbids Congress from MAKING any law that respects a religion. It does NOT prevent them from displaying the 10 commandments in public because there wasn't any law stating they had to do so. They can display the 10 commandments (and do other things) w/o ever making YOU do anything to conform to the same religious beliefs, and in fact they have for decades w/o anyone ever having issues with it. The homosexuals are the ones shoving their beliefs down the throats of the American people. We don't want the homosexual lifestyle to be accepted because it IS NOT accepted by any means.

Double check your history. Gay relationships are out of fashion only in the current time. Historically in many cultures they have been accepted and even praised.

The US is it's own nation. We should not be basing our laws on some other nation nor do we have to. Just because other countries do it doesn't mean it is right either. Gay relationships are STILL out of fashion it's just they are doing their damndest to change that despite what millions of other people say concerning the situation("millions" is a little more than the "some" you use to describe them). They don't want to hurt the homosexuals and they don't hurt the homosexuals so don't say that they do. They just don't want the homosexual lifestyle the center of attention, nor do they want it to be celebrated. As someone else said, they don't want to be treated like everyone else but instead be treated special.

They want to be allowed to marry each other but it is their choice to be gay. No one forced it on them and no one is forcing anything else for that matter on them to make their lives "miserable". The Christians on the other hand aren't even asking for anything but instead are being forced to push themselves and their beliefs into the shadows(wrongfully arrested or targeted for murder in some case). So cry me a river over how the gays and lesbians are having it rough. I guess you missed the memo on how the Christians are having, in some cases, a worse time than the homosexuals.

Just like city officials cave when a small group of homosexuals complain about something in their local town or when a small group of atheists complain about the 10 commandments being displayed in the open. City officials bow down to them like they are something special and they are sometimes only a handful of people making complaints. At least MS is caving the right way considering it is someone's choice to be gay. It isn't someone's choice to be female or black. Christians outweigh any other group by a large margin in the US and supposedly the majority in any situation is supposed to have some say in the matters of law and other things that are voted on dealing with matters like this.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that comment. Secular society is trying to remove religion altogether so that there are *no* differences to begin with. WHere is the freedom of religion with that? As it is the faithful are having to live at the sufferance of the unfaithful because the unfaithful are somehow offended by the faithful now and will do anything to make everyone equal by having no religion at all. Christians don't care whether you have a belief in a god or not but the unfaithful seem offended by the very existence of Christianity (Islam is okay though for some reason) in US society. It seems it's the non-religious who can't stand the religious and not the other way around. Atheists have already decided unanimously to revoke the acceptance of Christians in society. How is that for your peace-bringing secular society?

He is not arrogant and he makes people suffer through punishment when they disobey his laws (which happen to coincide with some of man's laws). Is he self-contradictory or do you just not understand Him?

"As society gets more secular and starts making judgements without God, we will become more miserable". Very debatable. God is simply a human invention. And why your God, anyway, and not Zeus?

Because there is no Zeus. THere is only God. It is called Greek *mythology* for a reason.

In our less religious times we also have kids who decide to satisfy problems at school by shooting their classmates. We have babies who are partially born and then killed as they are still coming out of the womb. People on their deathbeds are starved to death in order to get rid of them. We have men marrying men. We have girls who are kissing other girls. We have more natural disasters and they are stronger than they used to be. We have more diseases (AIDS, herpes) that seemingly pop up out of nowhere to punish those who are promiscuous and sinful(homosexuals). Sure we can counteract some diseases with our medicine but we aren't keeping up. Homosexuality is celebrated, public religious expression is banned. There are many more. So whose suffering has decreased? Yours? Overall the world is falling apart.
