I agree with almost everything you wrote, except that I don't consider Cherry MX imitation of a buckling spring keyboard. They are different switches. I use both -- Cherry MX (blue) for coding, buckling springs for writing (for some reason, that's the way I'm most productive).
As for Apple keyboards, they are overpriced and overrated junk.
