While there are always rookies entering the Tour with nothing more than what bike they could afford, powered by their aspirations, it will be the veterans like Lance that will be the contenders. Lance and all his buddies have the latest and greatest in gear. Lance chooses Trek, others choose Cannondale, Specialized, Lemond, Litespeed, etc. While the technology can go great lengths, it comes down to the ability of the rider to pull it out. In the end, it's the rider, not the bike.
While this is all good and everything, we need a native, built-in solution for the opposite problem: accessing Active Directory servers (Samba, etc.) on OS X. X can do Samba, but not while Active Directories are in place (as far as I can determine.) C'mon, Apple, you're half way there!

Sure they have. It's called OS X. Ease of Macs + the oomph of UNIX = knockout OS.
