during my microprocessor architecture course in U, we'd go for a fast food feast after a stint of writing assembler code for theoretical CPU's
this typically involved a trip to Harveys for a big greasy burger and fries . On our return we'd often find that the you'd have to start again on what you were working on.
the joke was that your short term memory got wiped.
thanks for confirming this was in fact true!
I see reading skills are still being taught with fervour in the US. "four bottles of explosives". You watch FOX news don't you.
Let's recap for those playing at home..
- there were four bottles of liquid - these containers may have come into contact with fertilizer, dry cleaning or hot dogs - liquid explosives such as TATP can't be detected using the nitrogen testing equipment currently in use - one of the elected morons got a sound bite showing he's tough on terrorism
I for one find the whining about fossil fuel burning and climate change to be the same sort of sad, illogical drone as that emanating from Kansas on the topic of evolution. The inability for the reader to understand the science means that magical forces must be at play..
The simple fact is the sun is a variable star. The earth has been both hotter and colder than it is currently, all without the intervention of man. Lets remember that you get what you pay for. Pay for a bunch of yes men academics to produce papers saying what you want isn't the same as real science.
With a the warmer periods provided by the higher output in the suns cycle you get the following:
- forests and grasslands will be dryer which lead to more fires, which in turn increases C02 levels
- higher ocean temperatures result in die backs of plankton and other temperature sensitive fauna, which in turn reduces the amount of CO2 absorbed by the ocean leaving the gas in the atmosphere
- changes in heat absorbtion by the land affect the weather patterns
- decrease salinity of the oceans resulting from increased rainfall impacts ocean currents and large scale weather patterns
While this won't help you unless you're interested in moving, ISP's not meeting expectations isn't the rule. In Calgary, I paid for the 6Mbit/1Mbit service and got 7.8Mbit/1.6Mbit.
either that, or it's time to add prozac to the water along with the flouride. what do you do when an entire country goes delusional. boogiemen in turbans in every dark alley, everyone believes (and talks to!) jesus. get a grip. more people die from smoking in a day than ever died from terrorism. perhaps if successive governments didn't keep making fucked up foreign policy decisions this chicken wouldn't be home to roost. sad.
lets face it. the creative well dried up at Disney long long ago. it's now an embarrassment. they say the first step is admitting that you have a problem.
we milk the same tired concepts to death
our movies have little to no plot, dialog or character development
cliches are us
now make the product porn, and the weaknesses are now strengths
all the tired material before can be leveraged in new exiting ways. Ariel and Pocahontas in hot girl-girl action!
lowered client expectations.
porn with a plot or character development. hah!
built in titles to develop; Sex Toy Story 3, Beauty and the Beast, etc.
theme parks you dont mind standing in line
and lastly...
an excuse to execute those STUPID ANNOYING characters.
its about time that this abomination was cast back into the sesspool from whence it overflowed. without exception japanimation is bland crap devoid of creativity. perhaps they'll get a clue and spend a little more time on the actual visuals as they do on the concepts. this stuff is a bad bug-eyed nightmare of velvet elvis paintings crossed with the worst ralph bakshi alternating two picture "cartoons". good riddance.
aren't these what larry the liar^h^h^h elison was flogging a while back. the computer of the new millenium or something like it. good idea for schools i would think.
the systems that we've examined so far do not provide any way of enforcing a policy, of which simplistic passwords exclusion would be one rule. we would also like to apply policy to documents such that two members of management from non associated business units are required to access certain documents.
brute force attacks lose their effectiveness when the chip holding the certificates erases itself after the nth+1 bad password. key recovery is what we want. there isn't anything to reset. anything less and all the documents signed and encrypted by that user would be lost.
and google play needs access to everything it asks for?

10 seconds in the microwave oven fixed the RFID chip in my Airmiles card just fine, and no burnt aroma.

Bring on the heat. I've got central air.
vmotion allows running vm's to be migrated from one piece of hardware to another transparently to the user. also see the HA product in 3.0.

my confidence in this article is now zero.
