Any modification which affects the drivetrain must have an exemption order on file with the California Air Resource Board. The number of this order must be visible on the parts which are installed.
Because of the high cost of the exemption, most small aftermarket companies are unable to offer products in California.
I was planning to mention that automobile manufacturers only make a few hundred dollars per car in profit. They make money for their investors by building a lot of cars.
Several months ago AOL blocked the list server I admin from sending to them. We cant seem to get them to unblock it even though it is not an open relay. Most likely one of their customers reported us as UBE because they couldnt figure out how to unsubscribe.
No big loss for us, the people who really cared about staying on our lists changed ISP's after their complaints to AOL went unheard.
I've never heard the one about the Space Shuttle size, but I do believe its plausable that the distance between the rails in the US Standard Rail Gauge was dictacted by a Roman Chariot.
You dont understand the point I am making. The networks may have an agreement with each other, but I have no agreement with them. *MOST* people have a legal agreement with their internet provider. But certainly not all.
Now if that isnt a bunch of crap, I dont know what is. I dont agree to anything when my packets get routed across a private network, and they didnt agree to route my packets. No contract is expressed or implied. For a contract to exist there must be *at least* an exchange between the two partys. They give me the use of thier network, but I dont give them anything.
"And one of the conditions of that agreement, like as not, is that you may not send unsolicited commercial bulk email."
Exactly where can I read this agreement?
The reason there is no "simple and straightforward enforcement of voluntary private contracts" is that there is NO contract.
All this being said. I agree with AOL, because the spammers forged email to look like it was being sent from aol.com. There's a lot of spammers that forge mail from hoser.com too, but I cant do anything about it.
Legislations will only screw things up, the only way to eliminate spam is for EVERYONE to stop responding to it.
ps: I dont understand how anyone could possibly moderate your comment up.
Exactly why I voted for Bush.
I believe this is the first:
2005 Chevy Silverado HybridIt is illegal for individuals to make non-excempt modifications on a road driven vehicle in California. Even if you make your own parts.

This is known as binary throttle and braking. It is the proper technique for driving a rental car.
Kids these days...
Thanks for your retraction.

You really should stop being an elitist asshole.
You are confused on who the newbie is. Look at your user number, then look at mine.
Karma is one of the reasons I hate the 'new' slashdot. Now days I only check it when someone tells me there is something worth reading.
Sadly thats not very often.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THE +2?
