I just find that free capitolisim is intruding too much into my life. I realy dont care where I can get the best deal on this years hot swimware. It just erks me when I see a page load of advertisments loading before any of the content I am looking for even apears on my screen. If I realy wanted a new two pice swim sute I would google for it. And maby a woman to where it to. Oh well, maby I should just start going round nude to protest this crap.

  2. Re:why is this on ACPI Forced On & Option Disabled in WinXP-Certified Motherboards · · Score: 1

Although i like the thought of a line of system tailer made for linux i must say that a half inch patch in the bottom of my sole would miss duel booting into windows. I mean after a day have hard codeing in linux there is nothing better then fragging a little digital ass. (Somthing hard to do in linux. [ Any body willing to get me a full copy of winex i would apreciat it])

  3. Re:wouldn't this on ACPI Forced On & Option Disabled in WinXP-Certified Motherboards · · Score: 1

i would have to agree. MS is holding the intere computer marcet for suckers and looking shocked when they get burnt. They purposly wrote IE into the windows xp kernil just so that they could say that it was intigril to the os and that they couldent take it out. (I'v done some poking around to try and find a reason it would be in the kernil. If you want to try it yourself run windows within a second os [ie: redhat]and restrict access to the explorer.exe) As for locking out the ability to change your irq's, that is (as far as i can see) microsoft's way of dealing with open source os's like redhat. Any way you look at it MS is a big ass that neads a good boot out the door. PS. If any of you people actual read this and if by chance your work for the rehat network then I LOVE YOUR OS WOOT!

  7. Re:Should I send this to my congressmen? on SSSCA Hearing · · Score: 1

Reading this makes me so infuriated. The SSSCA is designed not only to protect over priced intetainment and busness media but it is also desinged to put free ware orginizations like Red Hat software out of buisness by making them pay the overhead for this bullshit. This anti pirating hardware will only protecet the original media from people who dont convert it to a new form. Take DIVX for example. You you wouldent be able to make a copy of a dvd directly (or atleast easaly) BUT if you were to convert the .vob files to a mpeg format incoded in DIVX then the hardware would read it as a home made movie. No. This entire load of buricaratic Natziism is only disigned to push the free software into bankruptcy and leave the big corperations to control the digital industry.
