Just by reading this passage I can tell that this dude Solomon doesn't know his D&D:
Baker plays the leader of the elves, a curious choice since he is a towering six-foot-four. Solomon's solution: "He never stands up," he said.
Now as any regular D&D player will know, elves are not short they are supposed to be as tall or about a foot taller than the average human (around 7ft.), yet they have a much slighter build which allows for greater agility and dexterity but less strength. Perhaps he's thinking of a dwarf which are squat, burly beings that stand around 3-4 ft tall.
If this is an indication of things to come, then I don't look forward to watching it! Bring on Bilbo and Frodo!
Well, technological advancement is not necessarily a smooth linear or even logarithmic curve, it can be a stepped curve where new technological breakthroughs can shoot it straight up.
We all need to switch to WINternet!! Created from the ground up with bloated GUI tools and security bugs!
