Webdesigner for a small company in AK getting paid way way less than I should but I have been turned down for raises twice.
Pro's: I have full reign of the network and get a new pc and monitors whenever I need it. Liberal time off and a great bunch of co workers
Con': Office politics and incompetant management make this company very very volitile.
If I get an offer that at least balances between restrictions and benefits I am outta here and not looking back. I expect a counter but since I could't get the raise when asking for it no way. I am not using this as leverage because of how retarded my manager is the trust will be gone!
If the situation makes the new offer worth taking in most cases many would agree the extra bonus for staying on only bury's the reasons to leave for a short period of time!
