They won't be making any money off me if this gets crammed down my throat. The proposed bill complains that consumers aren't buying 4 and 5 digit priced HDTV's because there is no HD content. How about, because they are too damned expensive? There is plenty of decent content out there on DVD. So let's cram this technology mandate down everyone's throats and make them pay for it too. I refuse to allow any meaningful data to reside on my mag stripe driver license. Bulk erase it! Any idiot can swipe a license through a reader but one that comes up 404 will likely cause them to be more attentive.

I use Hotmail for anything that is likely to result in getting SPAM. Like registering software, on websites etc. Those that refuse to accept hotmail addresses and demand a 'real' one get a special entry in my mailserver which is only good until I get the goods. Then in the dumper it goes.
