I don't mind paying for that. I think everyone should pay a fair tax. Until the tax system is fixed so these loopholes are gone that will never happen. The working stiffs will continue to foot the bill for the welfare state while the Mitt Romney's of this country hide their money in the Cayman Islands.

I agree we can't undo the welfare state overnight. The problem is that we give people incentive to have children they can't afford. Stop paying for more children that will have even more children that will also end up on Welfare because it's all they ever know. I don't really blame them, if I'd grown up under that system I'd no doubt fall right in with the path of least resistance too. I blame Lyndon Johnson and his stupid "Great Society." What a load of crap. He and others created this problem and now we're going to reap the pain.

I don't mind paying taxes but I make less than 100,000 dollars a year and pay more than 50,000 a year in taxes by the time the Feds, State and local governments get through bleeding me. I remember when I was young and thought that 100,000 was a lot of money but after all these fuckers get through rifling my pockets it's a lot less. I can live on what they let me keep but don't think I'm happy at getting raped. My ass is sore and bleeding and I fucking hate those cocksuckers in DC....both sets of whores, Repukes and Dumbcrats.

My tablet replaced my netbook. I mostly used my netbook for reading and surfing, nothing really productive as it was too weak. It's advantage was it was small and light. I got a 5" Samsung Media Player and haven't used the netbook since. The Samsung fits in my pocket and it's just big enough to use for light surfing and excellent for reading on. I have a laptop that I use only occasionally when I have need for more power to go mobile but mostly I use my Mac Mini for any productivity such as video editing. I still have the netbook but I think I'm going to put it up for sale after Christmas. I guess some people who must have a keyboard for typing will prefer a netbook but I don't type enough to matter when I'm on the go.

Human rights organizations estimate that Saddam is directly responsible for more than 800,000 dead. This does not include those killed in fighting the war against Iran. Tales of entire families tortured to death for crimes against Saddam abound. Living in terror of being tortured is hardly stability. Soviet Russia was heaven by comparison. They only tortured people who were an actual threat to the Communist Party. I don't doubt that Iraq still has problems and will for some time but they sure seemed happy to be rid of Saddam.

People should understand that when you go to war it's going to be messy and expensive and it should always be a last case, no choice scenario when you do it. It's bad for everyone. I felt like something needed to be done about Saddam and really I am glad the bastard and his sons are dead but it ended up costing a fortune and I don't think we are any safer now than before. I do feel the Iraqi people are better off but I don't know if that will last or not.

Of course things like pedophilia or rape should actually be capital crimes with mandatory life sentences or death but instead we put them back on the street after a few years or even only a few months. I think they should be grateful just to be alive. You are far more likely to serve heavy time for diddling the stock market than rape or child molestation.
