our designers (business systems/ux) specify menus.
our data analysts (dba's) specify database structures.
The build software (specify2build) turns the specifications into a deliverable package of executables for dataentry, display, database update in a Tomcat/xxSql environment.
Still room for developers who can automate the design and analysis. Lots of room for people who want to learn logic and conceptualization (Maybe we could teach that!)
As a Canadian citizen, I believe this issue raises serious questions.. like where to apply for the grants and tax benefits. And what is a good ISP for hosting my web pages (is GoDaddy bilingual?). And where can I get mp3's from nickleback.....
strikes me that "every reasonable precaution" might include not teaching students how to write viruses in the first place. Ya, I know it is just code, but the _intent_ is implied in the course title...
This is just a test run. For a few bucks, they could replace "coke" with "pepsi", or "Heineken" with "Coors", or "Windows" with... oh, Windows is not replaceable !?
