Yes, i got the 1.7 GHz model and added a gig of ram to mine, i was lucky i purchased this the day they started advertising it because apparently they is a huge line of back orders now, and most shipments are being delayed by a few weeks. Its great for most of the stuff i do (3d modeling) as far as running linux on it though i was having some problems getting stuff like the smartmedia reader working. But most of the stuff that i actualy use seems to work ok. Definatly worth the 2500 i paid for it though. (drools over 1600 by 1200 resolution)

I was actualy thinking of some anti microsoft slogans... they could be catchy. how about

What if all the nerds got together and started a big donation bin for funding pro unix commercials? non agressive one. We could get the experts from tabacco companies to give example why unix makes you a more healthy person. wheee. maybe ive taken this too far...
