  1. Requires PC on MagicJack Femtocell Gates Cell Traffic to VoIP · · Score: 4, Informative

The current MagicJack is a device about the size of a matchbox with a USB connection and a phone jack. The USB connector plugs into the user's computer, loads software onto it, and uses the computer's power, processor and broadband connection. The femtocell will also use the PC, but it will let users make calls with their cell phones instead of wired phones.

Why can't they make a standalone device!?

  5. Microsoft response on Sony Drops PS2 Price to $129 · · Score: 1

I'd be happy if Microsoft at least responded by shipping more $149.99 systems.

AFAIK if you want a new Xbox (at least in the U.S.), you have to buy the $179.99 Forza bundle. (Which is a complete rip-off considering you can get Forza for less than $30 on its own)

Openswan is an Open Source implementation of IPsec for the Linux operating system. Is it a code fork of the FreeS/WAN project, started by a few of the developers who were growing frustrated with the politics surrounding the FreeS/WAN project.

Does anyone with a clue agree with this quote? I know its relative, but $300 for one component of a gaming system is hardly inexpensive by any means.

I guess I miss the day where $200 would get you the best. (tnt2 ultra $199)
