Yes,yes I do. I know of a few physicists who do, and a few of my fellow physics majors read it as well.

X and Y chromosomes do not suffer the same fate as other chromosomes, as they are not split and overlapped in the processes of sexual cell division. It has been proven that a single Y chromosome is still consistant over 3000 years at least. This is the basis of how people are tested for descendency from the Kohenite tribe of Judaism. All people who are of the Kohenite tribe are male descendants of male descendants traced all the way back to Aaron (brother of Moses). The same Y chromosome exists in every one of them. To say that the Y chromosome of adam would not have been passed down, or would have suffered some breakdown in the 6000 years of time since his recorded (from the bible) time on this earth would be asking us to accept even more radical theories on the rate of evolution. The testing for the specific Y chromosome is actually what is used for generic testing of an area for Jewish heritage. With a large enough sampling, if a portion of the population has the Kohenite chromosome, it is typically accepted as an indication of Jewish heritage. The prinicple sources of "damage" that you talk about to chromosomes do not effect the dna of the sex cells (sun light rarely falls upon that area to cause genetic mutations). Not all children are identical, this is a product of the non-x and non-y chromosomes which are greatly outnumbered. Children are not identical, but all male children of a single father will have the exact same y chromosome.

Just for your note, I find it quite ridiculous for you to refer to Germany as the Bad Guys in world war one. I think it's rather ridiculous to assume that due to the fact that they lost the war that they were the "bad guys". They were bound by the same problems as Brittain that forced them to become involved (diplomatic alliances etc.) I, despite my extreme anti-nazi position, am of the oppinion that Germany winning world war one would have resulted in a much better world, less marred by the tragedies that followed due to the horrible resolution that came of their loss. World war One Germany was not evil. I find it rather difficult to understand how someone using the words Good guys and Bad guys can have the will to even put forward the question of "Wow, it's not all so cut and dried now, is it?". Maybe you should consider that maybe the problem isn't in my expectation that countries should act not just for the good of THEIR citizens but for the good of all people, but that countries do not do so. I believe that all countries should be involved in trying to resolve the conflicts around the world. On the other hand, those countries that you list who are not getting involved, are different from America in a very large way. They are older breeds of countries based in shared heritage and lineage of their peoples. They can justitfy to their citizens that it is a dispute between other peoples and that it is not their place to get involved. I am not saying that this is a correct view to have, what I am saying is that America, and Canada and nations like them that are based in diversity, do not have that excuse. They are tied in to the entire world through their citizens and so must take a global position. As to the question of my gratitude towards the families of those who lost their lives during the D-day offenses. They have what they're family died for, revenge. America came in and got for its people what it wanted, bloody revenge. Just as it is in the east now. America does not enter wars for other nations, they enter it for themselves.

Ummm, not to quibble, but you're incorrect in saying that the bible prohibits the eating of insects. It merely states that those insects which do not have legs which go above another set of legs (i.e. jumping legs on things such as grasshoppers and locusts) that they are unclean and unfit for the chosen of god. Therefor it is not those who eat insects to survive that are not following the word of god, but rather those who are eating specific insects that do not follow the requirements as layed out. As well failure to follow the laws of cleanliness does not brand one a sinner, but rather brands a person unclean, which can be ammended for easily by the same laws which branded them unclean. I'm not a creationist, I'm just in favour of those trying to use empirical facts as the basis of their case to use accurate facts in attempting to rebut against others.

Please keep your histories accurate. America did have a hand in defeating the Nazis in world war II but they only joined the fight at the VERY end of the war. America was busy sitting around doing nothing to stop the Nazis until pearl harbour. However you are partially right. America's refusal to join world war I and II until long into it after having sat around selling arms and such and enjoying an economic boom from the fact that everyone else was at war is what very well makes you "bigger, stronger and richer" It's just a shame that in a way America is "bigger, stronger and richer" from the blood of the people that died in the camps and on the battle field while they didn't get involved because it "wasn't their problem". Even Soviet Russia had the sense to get involved long before America. So carefully place those words in YOUR pipe and smoke them.

Just wondering, exactly what parts of a genetics text book would disprove evolution? Also, using the quick statement of "just because it's in a book doesn't mean that it's true!" couldn't one quickly observe that this person (Michael Behe) is not simply lying and misinterpreting data in the same way he claims the darwinists are? Obviosly you have to question the standpoint of the people that are writing the books about religion and genetics or darwinism being in a stand off. I'd hate to say it but the ideas put forward in a genetics text book pretty much go against the bible's description of creation due to one VERY simple fact. I have a different Y chromosome than the people around me. As well, There are more than 3 observed X chromosomes in the world. Should we all be descended from Adam and Eve, we would all, without question have a single Y chromosome, and at most 3 X chromosomes. I'm sorry to dissapoint your desire for blatant faith over any kind of logic. I personally believe it to be possible for their to be correlations between scientific research and biblical stories, however as there is a huge amount of data pointing towards evolution being correct and as of yet NO evidence of ALL humans being descended from Adam and Eve, I will not accept them as the origins of the human race (with the exception of Jews or Islamics who can directly trace their bloodline to the patriarchs), and I will accept darwinian evolution as the best working model. Don't be stupidly faithful. God said to doubt all people, that includes the person who handed you the bible.
