I, as a female 4.0 CS student must have missed this memo somewhere. Math and Science have always been where I excelled, and I do notice a distinct drop in female students as I continue. I would like to say the female students that are in my classes with me tend to be studious, bright, and earn some of the higher class grades.
I would like to propose that a lot of female students in our college system have one large thing in their lives that men don't, childbirth. It's the single largest reason most of my fellow female students drop out of college, for whatever reason. Planned or unplanned, it is more often the female partner (if she has a partner) that will drop thier college career, or take a shorter degree for the sake of raising the child.
Sure the pages will be more durable, but will the binding last any longer? If the binding was good, I would love plastic pages for some of my often read books, that I am always replacing due to broken spines, and dog-eared pages getting ripped.
"Yes there is. The UELA doesn't say "If you consent" it says "Microsoft has the right."
It may not be happening today, but how do you know it won't happen tomorow? Do you trust Microsoft to be a "good citizen"?"
Yeah, and Microsoft is in league with the aliens, so I better make a tinfoil hat for me, and my PC before they use thier special mind control powers to stop me from clicking off any button/toggle setting that allows them to automatically update my OS.
I haven't gotten any spill over into the bedroom yet, but I did build my husband a computer desk for both of our equipment. Here I am with some of our stuff. We have an old hand-me-down in the living room powering our webcams, and another in a closet waiting for a new motherboard, and we took the other bits and just handed them down to his folks. This doesn't even include our roomates stuff! I admit we are baby geeks in regard to equipment, but the house is still decorated in early network.
