    I find it most disturbing that even to court don't seem to agree on this issue. Some have forced the address to change hands and others have not, even when the circumstances are similar.

    I seriously doubt Gator is doing this to protect my rights as a consumer. They certainly aren't going to allow me to pick and choose which ads I see. If I block ads on my computer using Mozilla, that should be my right. If Gator "hijacks" my computer to steal another companies ad revenue, that's wrong.

    Yes, its a good question. But done confuse the right with the difficulty. Just because the Internet make anonymity hard, doesn't negate the right. Free of expression without fear of reprisal is one of our most basic and important rights, and anonymity is part of it.

    I hate to dispute what you say, as I am a great fan of the show. But, SG-1 is as earth-centric as the others. In SG-1, it is referred to as "The First Planet." The planet where all human life originated and was seeded by the Goa'uld across the universe.

    You seem to be under the impress that I made the term "Representative Democracy" up. I did not coin it; I did not pull it out of my butt. Besides, never rely a dictionary definition of a complex term. It's definitions of these words is always to simplistic.

    Anecdotal evidence is proof of nothing, nor is the colloquial use of terms. During the Cold War, they added "under God" to the pledge. Does that prove the existence of God? Roman was a Republic; Ancient Greece was a Democrary. We are neither. I don't know what your Kidergaren teacher is telling you, but in my Political Science courses way back in college, we did learn that the US is a Representative Democrary. You should study more and not blindly believe everything that a single source tells you.

    This stupid issue comes up every time there is a story like this, with some moron saying, "We are not a Democrary, we are a Republic." Go back to school. We are neither; we are what is called a Representative Democrary.

    They DARE compare this java crude to C++??? I don't want a language that takes low-level features/abiliteis away from me, because the creator "thinks" I may abuse/misuse them. C++ is the most elegant, adaptable, expressive language I have ever used, and I'm used many professionally.
