We always had problems with an 8 mile link, I can only imagine how unreliable this link is over 72 miles. Amazing how many people have their own networks that interfere also. Its a pain to maintain those links. We switched to T1's to get more reliability (and more speed)
Just because dreamworks studio is helping linux with developing, do you really think that it will change the minds of their bosses on copyrights? Nope, all the bosses care about is making more profit, they could care less what it is being made on, just that it puts an extra buck or two in their pockets.
I can look at Pr0n in mozilla without my wife seeing the history in IE. I can also tab to a browser window open with slashdot when she is coming so she won't be interested.
With most seed companies, when you buy you do sign an agreement about use of their product. Much like Microsoft, you are basically buying rights to use their product. I don't have a copy here at work of any agreements from a seed company.
Methinks that Mandrake has found a niche where they can get people to buy/download their versions every 4-6 months because they would rather spend their time on the beach than upgrade 100 programs or more with to keep their system up to date. Its much easier to buy a new version than download updates to individual programs all the time. Not saying that is the right way, but it is easier.

Then wouldn't setting up a honey-pot on the internet also be considered entrapment?
