So either $48/year for a static IP or $25/year for dyn.com.... I guess it comes down to what you're using it for and how much you really are willing to spend.
After playing the new xpac last night, legendaries were dropping more than cheap whores. Most weren't upgrades but they also start losing their legendary feel if they drop this often. I remember being excited when a yellow item would drop. Now they are nothing but crafting mat trash.
I find the drops to be good if not to often. I see "SOME" people on the Blizzard D3 forums bitching that they aren't getting enough legendary drops and it's shitty. I got 8 in one a hour time span one night. Other times I've got zero in an entire day. It's fucking RNG. People need to stop bitching. You want your fucking free handouts, go bitch to your favorite government representative. In this case, keep playing.
The loot system is shit - everything from the drops themselves to their rarity to the auction house was designed to extract time and money from players. Yes, the auction house was removed last week but the drops still suck. The auction house (and the design choices made in order to push players to use it) ruined the game for nearly 2 full years.
If you didn't notice, the loot system was revamped and the AH no longer exists.
The art is horrid. Being too bright/colorful isn't my main issue. The worst thing about the art is the god damned World of Warcraft art team shitting up everything.
Being an old retired WoW player of many years (and loving the early years), I don't really see any link in graphics design between D3 and WoW. WoW had a more cartoon look while D3 doesn't if you ask me. So I love the D3 graphics. I feel they were very well done.
Most don't give a shit as long as the clients are paying the bills.
The hosting company I work for was like this at one point. The company VP (who has been fired since) make the final call and he said, "If they are current on their bill then ignore it." The only way he would shut a site down is if money was owed or the person complaining had some court order.
On and the VP would also send out SPAM his self while I was sitting here trying to stop SPAM in our mail servers. I hated that guy so much.
The only Fluke I see it looking sorta similar to is this one. SparkFun offered to change the color. Also it's a multimeter, how much different can it look so it doesn't look like others. That's kinda like Ford suing every auto manufacturer for making cars with 4 wheels.
As is most (or all) CMS packages. Either way you won't see anyone stop using it. CMS packages are a quick install, easy to manage and well... free. Do you want every person or company to pay some programmer thousands of dollars to custom write a site for them? It's highly likely that this custom site will have more bugs and exploits in it anyways.
On top of that, at least you get to see what that app wants access to before installing it. Last time I used my iPad it wouldn't show me anything before installing something.
When it comes to phones and tablets, I don't believe the manufactures really want to lock down the devices. Several offer tools from their websites to unlock bootloaders. It's the cell network carriers that force the manufactures to lock down the devices.
This is my biggest complaint. A few years back I had someone in Australia buy plain tickets online and used my email address. I got the info about the account and tickets, did a password reset request and got into the account and canceled the tickets. I sure hope they had a hard time when they showed up at the airport.
Verification emails should be sent on all new account creations and when signing up for any mailing list. Clearly the latter won't happen because companies want the emails to go to someone, they don't care who.
Also when you get something this complex, you will never be able to have it 100% perfect IMO. If we followed the OP's method, we would never get new features.
I agree with you 100% however I'm guessing somewhere in the super duper fine print that you agree to when installing Steam, you give them permission to do this. If it's not there it will be within the next week.
I once wrote a fishing bot for World of Warcraft. I was curious how it worked and if I, myself, could make one. I was successful. Afterwords I never used it again.
It's my way of learning little things on my off time when I'm bored. It's better than watching reality TV afterall.
They will just say the app is required for the full user experience thus not classifying it as bloatware. What the end user calls bloatware the device manufacture or carrier calls a system tool.
Because all the big dogs on your borders will do everything they can to make it a living hell for you. The big dogs would see what you're doing, move into the area and crush you. In the end you will have lost tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
A few years back my company use to resell AT&T DSL. AT&T would charge us ~$30/month for each account. Now how could we get customers and make some sort of profit on that when the customers can go directly to AT&T to get the same, if not faster, service for $15/month.
The camera and mic need power right? Couldn't you just wire an LED in the same circuit that powers the camera or mic? Sending power to one of them would kick the LED on.

When was the expansion from Blizzard more then $40?
Because it's an iPhone! Apple knows what's best and they even examined the code! Geez..
Do not question the Apple Gods.

Ask Apple how you can trademark rounded corners. I'm sure they have lots of insight on this.

So what's your solution?

But the smelly drunks getting right up in your face and flirting on you aren't?
Of course there will always be a market for second-hand screens, but the primary value is the motherboard
Not if they make it Mission Impossible self destruct method.

I would guess less than 3-4 years. My first gen iPad stopped getting updates a while back. I really could care less though as it just collects dust.
Also if the iOS source was leaked, I bet there would be more holes in it than pores on your face. Just a guess though.

My grandma was more threatening than the United Nations. This is nothing more than a joke.

So what you're saying is we should block anything Baidu at our front door now while we can? I'm all for it.

Don't forget that crap game consuming a gig of space that you will never play.
