    I'd like to see the main character from Bionic Commando make a reappearance in a video game.

    Someone already mentioned Strider, Trevor Belmont, Alucard, Mega Man, the Battletoads, Bill Rizer (Contra), and the Lee brothers from Double Dragon.

    Some others entertaining returns from the old days could be:
    • Master Higgins of (Hudson's) Adventure Island
    • Bonk
    • Sabin Figaro (FFVI or US-FFIII)
    • maybe some favorites from Killer Instinct
    • Blade and/or Stryker (Bad Dudes)
    • Colonel Scott O'Connor (Kabuki Quantum Fighter)
    • Kage (The Legend of Kage)
    • a character from Skate or Die!
