if i brought a newspaper, the paper is mine while i can not claim that i wrote the news... but sure hell i can do whatever i want with it...
put that perpective onto web materials, if i download something (say porn), that material is indeed mine, my possesion, while still i can not claim i create the material..
and if some fbi/cops come to my harddisk and find that the material is a kiddy porn, sure as hell i'll get a jail time for "possessing" the material..
i say, viewing (directly or indirectly --i.e. viewing slashdot.jpg) is considered as possesing.
well, last time i was in beijing, i tried several times to access yahoogroups and it failed everytime. i guess not only Chinese college student, but a foreigner like me can have an outcry also.
first its just an encryption.. and for later i expect they'll apply public-key for camera too.. and maybe, just maybe, then digital format photo can be accepted in court as evidence

great quality happens only when the lens is more or less as wide as the phone itself (you mean great quality, right?)... and when it happens, the phones wont be as mobile as you expect..
