The funny thing is, I wonder how many times the machines have tried to vote the otherway? and of course this has gone unreported because it doesn't fit the bill of being 'good news' and is political scaremongering more than anything else
I'm a 20 something with a Computer Science degree, a few years of experience dealing with Linux and Windows networks, servers and a few programming languages, and the job market is so rediculous in the UK I can't get even the lowest 1st line support job. What I would like to know is what does it actually take to get that 'Your Hired' letter sent in your direction??
IT admin jobs, sorry not enough experience.

1st Line Support, well maybe but not this time.
and then Junior Admin Jobs, sorry you've got too much experience I think you'll probably up and leave within 6 months.

Why not just set up an online shopping basket I'm sure theres plenty of help with that, ok it doesn't do the DRM/no tranferable bit but its quick n easy
Along side this nice new linux box, I have an old P133 laptop that still does the job nicely, abiword and twm does just fine.... who ever said that you needed the most powerful machine on the market???

PHPBB will affect a lot of websites it appear forums.gentoo.org has gone offline, upgrading early perhaps??
