John- In the future, will future ID engines (assuming that technology keepsa on moving forward as quickly as it is) support radiosity lighting with real-time moving lights/objects?
I understand that Doom3 doesn't support this due to the simple fact that GPUs/CPUs aren't powerful enough to render radiosity with moving objects in real-time.
Hopefully this feature will be incorporated into future ID engines when the technology can support it.
Btw, could the ATI card used in the D3 demo stand a chance for rendering real-time objects radiosity, or is it too slow?
