Look for batteries designed for devices that require higher power.. for example, the AA and AAA batteries sold in the sections in stores where Digtal Cameras are sold... there you'll find batteries which will LAST LONGER... and cost only minimally more...
As described, it would be very hard for legit spam to get through.. However, what I'm thinking is that they could have their normal 5 KB of
email which is spam.. and at the bottom.. (or anywhere else) , just add 20 KB of words they know are "good words".. throw html comment tags around it and its never seen to the viewer... but the large amounts of "good words" outnumbers the "bad words" , causing a spam msg to be considered good...
I don't know if that'll really work.. but its a thought
1. A phone no bigger in any dimension than a Nokia 8xxx
2. It should open up to a RIM style keyboard on one side, and LCD on the other (Nokia 9xxx)
3. It should have decent API's, with popular libraries / languages ( QT for GUI... optional java..)
4. It should have a decent processor
5. It should have one of those projected keyboards
That gives you a phone in your pocket, a PDA when you need one, and the projected keyboard gives TI enough buttons to start a major Math software company on the side..
1. Modular windows for OEM's
2. Retail windows which forces you to use MS products
This setup would mean, basically.. if you want a "nice" version of windows, you have to get it from OEM's.. if you want to be microsoft dependent, you can get it from them..
End Result? Microsoft is 50% happy (but who really cares except their investors), OEM's are happy, developers of replacement software (real player, netscape, etc) are happy...... the idea is, Microsoft sortof gets its way, the states sortof get their way.. is that too hard ?!
I have a useful tip
... and cost only minimally more...

if it looks like XP, feels like XP, sounds like XP .. then it is XP!
... if it "has the capability" to clone XP, then it can replace XP for your average user
but, without the cost, and with other bonuses you get for free like thousands of developers working on your operating system...
the way I look at it
so i dont have to hear my mom say things like "Why dont you just use the same programs everybody else does?"
As far as I know, their normal Radeon cards have never supported linux..
...
.. which is probably where the past assumed 'linux support' came from
Its only the FireGL cards which do
However, the FireGL drivers also run the Radeon cards

I guess that tells us why his aritcle is all about the dead of linux
Next we'll see CNN on the Death of internet explorer
What we REALLY need:

I would like to see this:

In my opinion, a game is a game -- and should stay there.
.. Living in a virtual world, and pretending its reality, lets you lose yourself...
Feedback is nice, but if you want reality, come to reality
no offence everquest folks

that would be a good feature
