This is a sad state of affair. This is just the beginning with no end in sight. When I was in school I had just one Computer class. Most of that time was spent me hacking the system because I had a computer at home and no one else had a clue what it did besides play Duke Nuke'em. Now we are going to give these kids something that will allow them to hack other kids PDAs while the teacher is not looking? Is this a new for of bullying? Now the nerds will have the upperhand in school when they can steal everyone's home work and make the school bully give them there lunch money for it back.
I am a long time reader first time poster. I like the idea of a bunch of/.er getting together and just having a good time. I for one would like it just because it would give me a change to interact with the people that I have come to admire, respect, hate, and downright loath on here over the past 3 years. Put faces to chat names and email addresses and meet people that you never knew read/. Hell you might see your boss there and see that he is a poster that you thought had great comments. Then he would see that you were the poster that commented on his great ideas. Then you get promoted and make more mone..... That will never happen. We should just be happy to see that there are more of us then we thought. Besides what better excuss is there to get 100 people together and go to a bar, get drunk, try to score and talk about all things/.
